  Just ate the gluten free pizza. The crust was what I expect from gluten free. I didn't expect canned mushrooms, tasteless sauce, raw onions, and thin slices of mozzarella cheese. Not a good pizza experience and NOT because it was gluten free. Disappointed. Wings were OK.

  Noticed this place is going down hill......used to be great! Huge wings really good pizza. Last order the wings where the smallest ones I have ever seen, pizza was cardboard. Used to be our go to place but not anymore. Hopefully they change or I fear they will face the same fate as so many other small business's in Welland.

  Upon entering this dimly lit pizzeria, my first thought was, ' Wow, fancy place! Black painted walls, dim lights, simplistic interior, no pizza' wait, no pizza?
  
  I've been to more pizza joints than I care to admit, and every single one offering pizza slice combos usually has a few kicking around at the front counter. Seeing that splendid pie under the heat lamp makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Here, there was no pizza to be seen. I don't even think I saw a menu. Just a chalk board painted wall yelling "2 SLICES AND A DRINK FOR $3(ish).
  
  A friendly pizza salesman greeted me and asked what I'd like. I asked for a couple slices, hold the drink(I'm watching my calories). He swiftly walked to the back without asking for my preferred pizza variety, so I assumed he knew I liked Canadian style. A couple minutes later, 2 pepperoni slices in hand, he came to ring me through. I have no beef with pepperoni, but a choice of toppings is always nice. Also, it's pretty much standard everywhere else in town.
  
  I paid my $4 which included a dipping sauce and left to enjoy my slices. Upon opening the paper bag I found two slices, maybe a little bit bigger than Little Caesar's medium pizza slices. A bit smaller than I expected, considering most places give you two monster slices.
  
  Another familiarity with this pizza was the flavor. Kind of tasted like Little Caesar's, kind of tasted like Delissio frozen pizza. Crust was hard, the kind that makes your gums cry a little bit, but had a nice bready flavor. Sauce was likely canned, and overall the pizza was pretty much sub-par for the course by pizzeria standards.
  
  Now the staff seemed fine. The price was fine. The pizza wasn't great, and the atmosphere wasn't great either after closer inspection. They had a broken standing bar top, pizza crumbs all over the front counter, dust in the corners and dusty soda storage within view. The rugs looked like they still had salt stains from the winter, and it's now almost June.
  
  This establishment needs a big overhaul if it wants to compete with the places just down the road. I'm talking renovations, recipe change, brighter and more welcoming decor, possible worker uniforms (DC shirts and snap back hats ain't my style). If this place happens to be a drug business front, then I'd give it 4 stars because it's way nicer than the drug fronts in the GTA.
